I'm upset it took me so long to try this place! I usually only go to one pho spot (just because I'm loyal) but after moving it wasn't as realistic. We got delivery through Uber eats but everything was dine-in quality. Pho 89 is INCREDIBLE. We got Bun Rieu (crab noodle soup), Broken Rice w/BBQ Beef, Beef Salad, Spring Rolls w/pork skin, Peapod Stems w/Garlic, and coconut water and fresh sparkling limeade. Bun Rieu - AMAZING. Lots of meat, tofu, tomato, and shrimp. My only complaint is the packaging - they sent the noodles and soup itself separate which is ideal, but the container for the noodles was a styrofoam box. Would be better in a take-out bowl so it's easy to pour the soup over the noodles. But, not that big of a deal. The taste was awesome and there was LOTS. Beef Salad - some of the best I've ever had. The size was remarkable, the container was SO heavy and it was well worth the money. Tangy, fresh, delicious. Spring Rolls - awesome and I've never seen such huuuuge spring rolls in my life. I received fish sauce instead of peanut sauce which was disappointing but again, not a big deal. Peapod Stems with Garlic - can't go wrong. It's so hard to find this on menus and it's one of my favorite side dishes. Broken Rice w/Korean BBQ Beef - 10/10. Lots of beef, charred slightly and caramelized like it should be. Can't wait to try them for dine-in. Delicious.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch on Sunday April 27th a little after noon for lunch. We have already been here twice before and really enjoyed it so it’s becoming one of our favorite local places for lunch on Sundays. The restaurant had only been open for an hour, so it wasn’t too busy. By the time we left though it was mostly filled with customers. We were greeted promptly and seated. Service was prompt, courteous and welcoming. For an appetizer we ordered Goi Bo which is like a beef salad. It consists of Beef (Raw. With shredded carrots, cabbage, fresh meat, roasted peanuts, onions, and homemade dressing.) The beef was tender and flavorful and the remaining vegetable ingredients were as fresh as could be. Be warned though, this is a large mound of an appetizer. It can easily be shared by at least 2-3 people. For entrees we ordered the #23 Pho Dac Biet (Special Combination Beef Noodle Soup) (With eye round steak, flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe. Normal size is Large.) The broth was one of the best pho broths we have had. It was a nice deep flavor to it. The beef was tender and very much loaded with tendon, tripe and other beef components. The second entree we ordered was the number 46 Hu Tieu Mi Dac Biet (Deluxe Combination Noodle Soup) Topped with sliced pork, shrimp, squid, imitation crab, pork, choice of yellow or rice noodle. Again, the broth was delicious. It was flavorful and nice and light without being an overpowering seafood taste. It also was loaded with all the accompanying ingredients. The last items we ordered were an avocado shake and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Both drinks were nice and cold and refreshing. Overall, we really like the food, ambiance and staff here. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

This is a top 5 pho place in the greater Boston area, maybe in the entire Massachusetts. This is not a traditional pho or noodle place, there are many other options that are very good. Seafood also is great, lobster is a must try. The servers are very nice, there used to be a dude didn’t seem like ever wanted to be there, doesn’t talk much and just looked angry but he is no longer there anymore I think. The newer guys are very friendly and polite. Love this place.

My fiance and I go here at least once a week. The food is always perfect every time we go. Brisket pho (#25) and spring rolls (#3) is my go to.

I was here before anyone. We’ve been going here since it opened and the place is brilliant. The people are so nice and respectful and I’ve actually made good friends with one of the servers. The music is so relaxing and the food is incredible. They have the best beef teriyaki that I’ve ever had in 22 years of living. Also #24 on the menu slaps every time. I recommend this place to anyone in the area for sure.

Update: Eddie the owner saw my previous review and called me right away. He apologized and offered to make me something different. He even delivered it to me! Very nice guy! BBQ Chicken with mixed veggie rice, fried lobster and a coconut milk shake. All was hot and delicious! Try the fried lobster! I will be back for the lobster! Sorry, I really wanted to like this place. They gave me 5 small pieces of oxtail with not a lot of meat on it in my Pho. Also, the oxtail was way too tough and seemed old. I didn't care for the flavor of the broth either. However, the guy was nice and the service was good. Not worth the 30.00. I don't plan on going back.
